Kalos now has a FREE Employee Assistance Program (EAP) that also covers spouses and dependents. Under the Kalos EAP, each family member has access to three (3) free therapy sessions and unlimited access to legal, financial, and work-life services available 24/7. Kalos is also proud to start offering unlimited free legal consultation over the phone, referrals for one (1) free in-person legal consultation, and a 25% discount on consultations with in-network lawyers.
Kalos also offers FREE basic life insurance to ALL eligible employees. This benefit offers $10,000 of coverage at no cost to the employee; there are no weekly payroll deductions for this benefit. Employees must designate a beneficiary during open enrollment.
At Kalos, we try to keep our insurance costs well below the national average for our families. Payment premiums for Florida Blue health insurance are as low as $22 per paycheck for single employees and Florida-employee HMO plans with premiums below $200 per paycheck for an entire family. Our health insurance plans also cover TelaDoc, a telemedicine program available to you 24/7 with a $0 copay.
Kalos also offers dental and vision coverage. Our dental plan runs under $15 per family and gives you and your children access to preventative care with a $0 copay. The $50 individual and $150 family deductibles apply to both basic and major dental procedures (with coinsurance). Our vision plan premiums run under $4 per family and allow you to receive contact lenses with a copay of $0, a $10 copay for eye exams, and only a $25 copay for new eyeglasses lenses with in-network coverage.
In cases of accidents, we want our employees and families to be covered by losses of income. We offer long-term disability insurance on a sliding scale by age and income bracket. Through Colonial Life, we also offer supplemental insurance for accidents, short-term disability, hospital supplements, cancer, critical illness, and life insurance. Supplemental insurance plans pay YOU directly, and you may use those funds however you feel necessary.
